Game splashes colour to its WonderPark store

Keeping up with the current rebranding of Game stores nationwide, the African retail giant continues to impress, this time with the upgrade to its WonderPark store in Pretoria. To stay consistent with their other stores, the WonderPark store has received a refurbishment as part of the Retail Reimagined turnaround strategy which gives customers a chance to experience a uniformed retail shopping experience.

“We’re really excited about what we’ve done with our WonderPark store and for customers who’ve been wanting a more efficient and seamless shopping experience, are guaranteed to receive that at WonderPark,” says Katherine Madley, Vice President of Marketing at Game. “This store will now also enjoy the new pricing guide which is being rolled out as part of the Retail Reimagined initiative creating a more seamless merchandising and category strategy.”

This is to better assist the customer journey in store where they will be able to easily find products. For example, the baby section is adjacent to the toys section and audio products can be found nearer the extensive TV range.

“Consumer shopping habits are continuously shifting and as a leading retailer we need to tap into this. We know consumers have a specific shopping list in mind and are looking to get in and out of stores quickly and efficiency. Our new layout will assist them,” adds Madley.

Furthermore, Game is upskilling its store associates to ensure a uniformed customer service experience through its Happy to Help programme. The end result is an overall improved customer experience coupled with great service.

What’s more, Game guarantees its customers the lowest price on each and every item. If a customer finds an item that Game stocks cheaper anywhere else, they simply need to bring the leaflet in-store and Game will beat that price by 10% on the difference.

And, if a customer has purchased an item from Game in the last 21 days but finds it cheaper elsewhere, the same process applies. Bring in the leaflet and your proof of purchase and Game will refund its customers 10% on the difference.

The store will start trading at 9am on the 30th of April.
